I founded Sierra Mike to help people navigate property decisions with greater clarity, drawing on years of practical experience managing, refurbishing and preparing homes.

My work is about looking beyond the obvious solution.

Over the past six years, I have managed and refurbished more than 60 residential properties across Cambridgeshire. That experience has shaped an approach grounded not in trends or unnecessary expenditure, but in thoughtful decisions, practical solutions and improvements that genuinely serve both the property and the person making the decision.

2026 UK Small Business Awards Finalist

I’m delighted to have been named a 2026 Finalist in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category at the UK Small Business Awards, representing Cambridge.

It’s a lovely recognition of the work behind Sierra Mike — and of the rather unusual journey that brought all its different parts together.

From Property Projects to Practical Tools

Sierra Mike has now grown beyond one-to-one property work.

I am the author of Style to Let, a practical guide for landlords and hosts looking to create more appealing and memorable rental spaces, and Before You Spend, a guide to making more considered decisions before investing money in your home.

My next book, Before It Breaks, takes that thinking into preventative home care — helping homeowners understand their properties, spot potential problems and deal with small issues before they become expensive ones.

I am also developing BIB HomeHub™, a practical digital tool designed to help homeowners keep track of their home's maintenance, information and ongoing needs.

Alongside this, SIERRA MIKE Originals brings together carefully selected heritage furniture and limited collections rooted in English inter-war influence, chosen for their character, quality and individuality.

What I Believe

I don't believe every property problem requires a renovation. I don't believe homeowners should spend money simply because someone tells them they should. And I don't believe good property advice needs to be complicated.

The right decision is often the one made after taking a step back, understanding the problem and deciding what actually matters. That philosophy sits behind everything I do — from property strategy and consultations to books, practical tools and the BIB HomeHub™ project.

That is what Sierra Mike is ultimately about: helping people make thoughtful, informed decisions about their homes — before they spend, buy, renovate or let.
